Previous Strategic Partnership Case Studies
Words and Actions Matter Huddle
Collaboration with Blueprint Medicines
The Words and Actions Matter Huddle was an in-person, internal company-wide event. The goal was to learn from diverse patient perspectives by peeling back the layers around patient experiences within the clinical trial and healthcare setting. The huddle dug deep into understanding the power of words and the impact on patient decisions from both physician and patient perspectives.
“Words certainly aren’t enough to express our gratitude, but it’s a start. We are still buzzing with relatability to the stories, lessons learned, and overall motivation to do better, now that we know better. I look forward to our continued collaboration with the HEET as we move mountains together.”
“DHH developed a panel featuring a respectful dialogue among patients, scientists and researchers where we all walked away with actionable solutions that not only raise awareness, but institute actions that help BPM be a more thoughtful, equitable and an allied company when working with and for diverse patients.”
ACTIVATE: A Community-Based Digital Health Initiative
Collaboration with the University of California
DHH produced a series of explainer animations on digital health to support the ACTIVATE program, a community digital health initiative from the University of California’s CITRIS Health and MITRE research programs. Focusing on residents in rural California, ACTIVATE increases digital health literacy to improve health outcomes for all.
“Our partnership with DHH is health equity in motion. It has been a pleasure working with a team that uniquely understands the importance of meeting at-risk communities where they are. The HEET took the time to ensure the audience’s diverse socio-cultural backgrounds and unique needs were part of the story.”
ED&I Landscape Analysis
Collaboration with Patient Empowerment Network
Analyzing the data findings from an organization-wide survey, the HEET identified and recommended actionable steps for PEN to pursue Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity with underserved patients in vulnerable communities.
“The HEET asked essential questions that encouraged us to broaden our collective perspectives. This reflective exercise empowered us to execute our resolutions mindfully as a cohesive unit. Our experience with the HEET has set us on a path toward more meaningful cultural competency.”
