John Masembe

Health Equity Emissary Team Member

John has a passion for improving  the lives of marginalized health communities. His curiosity was directly born out of the challenges, biases, and complexities of the healthcare system he faced as a young Black patient with sickle cell disease. John also has a bachelor’s degree in public health from the University of Washington and is a Seattle Seahawks fan. He loves to educate and empower young BIPOC men and women with the knowledge and tools of empowering the next generation.
